7 [Unique!] Items I Loved This Month

Hi, friends! It’s SEPTEMBER?!?!! Already??!?!

Cue me saying “this year is going by sOooOOOOo fast”.
(…even though I say that literally every. single. year. hahahah)

But— to the point— while it is apparently September already (seriously, HOW?!), I do have a few product recommendations that I have been loving this month!

As you guys know I am quuuuuite picky with the items, products, and services I use, and LOVE making a great recommendation when I find a winner!

Below you will find 7 unique items I am constantly reaching for this month— everything from a zucchini spiralizer to a homemade bathrobe, and they all have the elusive Kate-stamp-of-approval. Enjoy!

this veggie noodle spiralizer (zoodles, anyone?!)

Our veggie farm share has had ALL of the zucchini & yellow summer squash lately [insert heart eyes here] so we have been making zucchini noodles on repeat! While spiralized veggies are a grrrreat pasta alternative and an easy way to have a more-nutritious, fiber-filled, lower-carb (yet filling!) “pasta” dinner…. they can be SUCH a pain to make. *nervous laugh*

We had a different veggie spiralizer before, but it was so clunky to use and so. tedious. to clean that we hardly ever used it. When we upgraded to this electronic veggie spiralizer a few years ago, we instantly started making veggie noodles way more frequently because this machine was soooo much easier to use (and to clean!).

It’s super easy— you just insert your veggie of choice (we’ve used it with big carrots, zucchini, squash, etc.), and it spits out veggie “noodles” instantly (you can customize different noodle widths— fettuccini style, spaghetti, etc.). This has become a staple in our kitchen! We’ve used it consistently for over 3 years at this point, and if you like veggie noodles, I would definitely say it’s worth it!

the lulu lemon sale section (it is STACKED right now):

Okay, okay, so we ALL know Lulus create some of the comfiest, most quality athleisure around. While I definitely know there are more sustainable places to shop— ya girl never wants to pretend to be a perfectly sustainable shopper. Because I’m definitely not! and Lulu Lemon is for sure one of my favorite places to buy athletic gear because the items I do have from them hold up SO well, and I always find myself constantly reaching for them over my other options.

The fit! The fabric! The comfort! Top tier.

Whether it’s my workout gear, lounge outfits, cozy sweatshirts… and a LOT of it is from Lulu Lemon, but more specifically, the Lulu Lemon sale section!

PRO TIP: I pretty much only shop from their “we made too much” portion of their website which has alllll the sneaky sale prices.
…Because, let’s be real, I don’t want to spend $9850840980 on full-price yoga pants. buuuuuut, the sale prices ARE soooo worth it for me.

Usually, the sale options are pretty limited, but right now, it is STACKED with great options!!! I was so excited. I just stocked up on:

(While I LOVE Lulu, I am also very aware that it isn’t the most sustainable place to shop. if you are looking for a more sustainable workout gear option, Girlfriend Collective is GREAT option— super chic, made of recycled materials, beautiful THICK fabric, and verrrryyy quality! Their Paloma sports bra is THE. BEST. SPORTS. BRA. EVER. Trust me. I have it in 7 colors, hahhah.)

upgrading our shampoo bottles

Ya know how I just mentioned that I loooove to upgrade everyday moments and items? I recently did had a mini ~upgrade~ moment in our shower!

Instead of ugly, plastic shampoo bottles everywhere, I bought these glass amber bottles on amazon, and then I customized this waterproof set of labels.

It is such a small thing, but it truly makes our whole shower look SO much more put together and organized. I genuinely appreciate how good these look every. single. time. I shower. (Not to mention, every guest we have had shower has commented on them!). A simple swap that packs a punch & instantly elevates your shower space :)

this specific mediatation app

IYKYK. I have been sharing this app on my instagram stories like crazy lately, because I am….. obsessed. And I don’t say that lightly.

Finally! A meditation app that you can actually be consistent with.

We all know that meditation is good for us. But, true results don’t come from just meditating every once in a while— but meditating consistently. And this specific app has helped me soooo much with making meditation into a HABIT.

Because, let me be honest, I have tried SO many of the 93048290384 meditation apps out there, and no matter how hard I tried, I could never truuuly stick with it. I’d be “good” for a few days or a week… but the habit would always fade off.

But, this one? It is SO realistic for everyday life.

because while there are beautiful “classic” meditations for when you do have time to sit down and zen out, it also has UNIQUE meditations that you can play while doing “everyday” things— cleaning your house, walking, doing your skincare routine, waking up in the morning, running errands, etc. Plus, a whole library of meditations under 5 minutes, etc.

Even in the newborn craziness, I have been so consistent and GENUINELY looking forward to these busy-girl-approved meditations every single day— they are SO relevant, easy to implement, and truly lovely.

10/10 recommend. (Pssst: Try 6 weeks free by clicking this link and entering the coupon code KATE :) Enjoy!

custom return address stamp:

Small details just make me HAPPY okay!!! While, yes, OF COURSE you could just write out your return address, it is soooo much more fun (annnnd WAY more efficient) to have a return address stamp (and a cute, aesthetic one at that!).

I have bought one of these for every place we have ever lived. It’s so fun to have a unique, personalized address stamp that we can use for thank yous, Christmas cards, and beyond!

I LOVE buying this for friends that recently moved. Such a fun (and useful!) gift :)

this. onesie.

O. M. G. thee onesies we have had miles in 24/7 in the newborn phase. Well, what makes ~this~ onesie so special, Kate? Hear me out. The design of this “baby bag” onesie thing is GENIUS and so unique. I’ve never seen another onesie like it.

It makes changes SO easy (yes… even easier than zip up onesies…. by far…), it’s main closure is a big velcrow flap (AKA no annoying buttons, zippers, etc. and allows for effortless skin-to-skin without having to fully undress them) and has a “bag” bottom (instead of pant legs that feel impossible to get those little newborn legs into! They have regular leg options, but I highly recommend their “baby bags” for the newborn stage).

We put him in this every. single. night. He is sooo comfy in this thing, and we loved it because of the effortless skin-to-skin and VERY easy diaper changes.

They are made by a fellow small business, and I fan-girl emailed the company because I loved them so much. They were kind enough to offer you 12% off with the coupon KATEESKURI (how nice!). I cannnnnot recommend these enough for the newborn stage (and i think they would make an amazing gift to an expecting mama in your life!)

my handmade bathrobe

With sleepy days & breastfeeding, I have basically been living in this robe alllll day, every day! (If you follow along on insta stories, you already knew that). And it’s so funny, because I have LITERALLY gotten more requests for this robe link than like when I have a cute outfit on. And that makes me happy— becaue this robe was a little motherhood gift to myself!

This may sound silly, but going into postpartum, I knew I’d likely just want to keep it simple clothing-wise and wear something that would keep comfortable all day, had easy breastfeeding access, was loose, annnnnd I treated myself to a nice robe.

I LOVE the style of this one— it has such a unique, polished SHAPE and seems a bit elevated for a robe. I specifically chose it because it feels a little more pulled together, and the fabric is juuust structured enough to provide a flattering shape (and beautiful kimono sleeves!), but soft enough to cozy up in!

It’s so dang comfy, and I have been LIVING in this even more than I anticipated. I got this from a small biz on etsy, and I looooove it. (Two other options I considered were this one & this one, but i am SO happy with the one I chose!)

There ya have it! 7 items that I am reaching for this month. Absolutely nothing on this list is sponsored, but I did use affiliate links (which means I can earn a small commission if you purchase!). Thanks in advance for shopping through my links & supporting my small business!

These are items & habits that have upgraded my day-to-day life. From zucchini noodles to meditation apps— from yoga pants to address stamps, I hope you found a recommendation that resonates for you!

ALSO……… I am thinking of making this a consistent feature— doing a monthly round up for 5-10 items I am loving and especially grateful for that month??? let me know what ya think by writing a comment below!

Until next month ;)
